Where I've Been...

This work has always been more than photo's for me. It's trust. It's softness. It's seeing yourself in a way you maybe never have before. And showing up for that...when your own world feels heavy, isn't as simple as one would imagine it would be.

The truth is, I've been moving through trauma-my brother was put on life support, where he spent a month in the ICU/Hospital and when he returned back home to focus on healing and recovery 4 weeks later our mum passed away. I went quiet, and private to navigate the loss, and I was trying to hold it all without letting everything else fall apart, which I won't lie, was incredibly hard.

There were moments I didn't recognize myself. Not as a woman, not as an artist. I was just trying to get through the day, one day, one moment at a time. And when your work is rooted in confidence and connection, it's a different kind of ache to feel disconnected from yourself and the one thing that has always been a passion to you. So, I gave myself space, I slowed down in ways I wasn't used to. I let things be quiet...even if it scared me.

Healing hasn't been loud, it's been in the small things...breathing deeper, feeling a little lighter, finding pieces of myself again. And lately...I've felt something shift. The way the light hits a room, the way a moment feels before it's captured. The way I see women again...it's all coming back.

My mind feels softer

My heart feels open

And my creativity feels like home again.

If you've been waiting...if you've been thinking about stepping infant of my lens, this is your sign.

I'm here.

A little changed, a little stronger... but more me than I've been in a long long time,

And I'm ready to create something honest, something beautiful with you.

If you're ready to become fearlessly you, then I'm ready to have you in front of my lens.

You know what to do
